On this day of LOVE, Denali and Sir Wilbur have a message for all their fabulous fans!

We finally got some snow in Ohio. Denali loves, LOVES the snow and Wilbur, well Sir Wilbur is confused. Denali was running in circles, mastering his snow angels as Sir Wilbur was looking around sniffing and licking the white stuff. So, I decided to kick some snow towards them…Denali was in heaven and Sir Wilbur…well, if you look closely at the photo, he still looks confused. Have a great weekend everyone!

The few times ’someone’ (I think everyone knows who) is left alone, this special ’someone’ patiently waits at the front window for me. For example, this is where D stands when I leave for an afternoon run and this is where he is when I return from my run. I truly appreciate D being very thoughtful waiting for me at the window, but it’s so not necessary. I have given it much thought and I would love to take Denali on a run, but knowing him, we’d stop every 2 minutes to sniff or he might run after a squirrel or even better, he would leave a deposit that I would have to pick up and run with. So instead, Denali stays on duty at my front window looking for me. I just love him!!

Denali has lots of friends in the neighborhood. Every so often, I’ll get a knock on the front door and one of the neighbor kids wants to know if “Denali can come out and play.” Denali always has fun with the kids. From joining them in their kiddie pool to chasing each other, it’s always one adventure after the other. After they were outside for a bit I offered the little boy a popsicle. As I handed it to him, he asked for another one. When I asked who it was for, he said, “Its for Denali, he needs a treat too.”

Little Jorryn is only 3 and she is madly in love with Denali.  Yesterday, Denali and I hung out with my friend and her two little girls. Jorryn, the littlest one, always pampers Denali and follows his every step.

From sharing her food to horseback rides the two are inseparable. My goal is to take a nice studio shot of the two of them. I ‘m not sure if that will ever happen. But, for know I have this one.
