One of Denali’s favorite spots in the Jeep, is the back seat. He has grown up on the road and accompanied me on many photo assignments. Recently, we traveled to Put In Bay, for an assignment and Denali was enjoying himself in his regular spot.
We got lost yesterday in Maryland and ended up riding The Oxford Bellevue Ferry on the Chesapeake Bay. A very nice couple from Virginia held Denali’s leash while I took his photo.
Once arriving on land we came upon a little town named St Michaels and found a nice shop called Flying Fred’s where Denali’s cards will soon be sold.
After chasing a few people while running the Rocky steps with me at the Philadelphia Art Museum, Denali takes a moment to catch his breath.
In the movie when Rocky reached the top, he lifted his dog Punchy. I suggested the idea to Denali for a photo but, he wanted to keep it simple.
After a quick sniff, Denali decided today to pose next to the Naked Cowboy.
This was Denali’s first on foot adventure to Times Square but, not his first time to New York City. Besides dodging tons of yellow taxis we had a marvelous time in the city.
Thank you Naked Cowboy!
Denali came into my life when I lived in Pennsylvania. Monthly, we would pack the Jeep with a camera and a good pair of hiking boots to hit the trails at Ricketts Glen State Park in Benton, PA.
The park is just BEAUTIFUL… Full of waterfalls and some awesome trails.
Four year later after leaving Pa., Denali and I are on a little road trip back to the area and he suggested we make Ricketts our first stop.
As soon as we pulled into the park, we went for a hike, then he decided it was time to hit the water.
Denali has this habit that is bred into a Golden Retriever. It’s called an addiction to swimming.Today, without my approval, he decided to go for a swim in Lake Erie.
A nice drive to Marblehead, O. with my brother turned into a wet, smelly mess in the Jeep, but how can you deny a dog the chance to do what he enjoys.Oh well, he’ll just stink for a few days. By now I’m used to it.

Denali and I have been busy lately working on three new cards for the collection. We decided to take the afternoon off to visit Mary Jane Thurston State Park in Grand Rapids, O.
On the way to the park we stopped at Olde Gilead’s Country Store. The stop was successful. Starting in late June Denali’s cards will be featured in the shop. He enjoyed himself at the park, paid no attention to the falling rain and had a great time getting wet while chasing the ball.
John and Susan owners of Our Town’s Brewin‘ in Clyde, Ohio got a visit from Denali this afternoon.
On your next journey when traveling through Clyde, make sure you stop in to get one of 30 fresh pies made by this cozy all-American store. The best part of a visit to Our Town Brewin’ is the casual atmosphere and the ability to purchase one of Denali’s latest cards.
Welcome, John and Susan!
Denali and I took a day trip to Chicago this past week. Along with playing in the sand on Lake Shore Drive, we had a great time and Denali’s cards were welcomed by four more outlets. The stores are: Tails In The City, Heartland Cafe, Dog-A-Holics and Barnard Ltd.
Thank You.. Chicago
