It’s interesting when you walk past your bedroom and you notice someone is standing on your bed staring at you like they own the place?? Everyone who knows me and D, understands that Denali has total run of my house and control of me. I’m just not sure what he was trying to tell me or what he was up to when I took this photo. Maybe I interrupted him while he trying to find the perfect spot on my bed to take a nice long afternoon nap. I love you D. Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

My goal for the longest time has been to get a photo of D with his two buddies Remi, the puppy Great Dane and Bentley, the Weimaraner. I honestly think that Denali is aware of my goal because every time I attempt to take a photo of the three of them, the only one that listens to me is D. Also, if you look closely out of the three dogs, Denali is the only one not on a leash smiling for me. Shocking…Yes.. Denali, I love you.. Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

With this weekends holiday upon us, I though it would be fun to get my son Denali into the spirit. So, I got D a cute bonnet for his head and found some 3 week old baby chickens. Speaking of ‘chickens,’ this was Denali’s first experience with them. When I met the owner of the chicken’s, the first thing she said was, “He’s not going to eat them is he??” I responded, “No, no, he’s a vegetarian,” as D ran in circles around me, my brother, and the nice chicken lady. Have a HAPPY HAPPY holiday weekend.. Hugs and Kisses, love Denali!

Saturday morning I decided to bake some cookies for my family. Since D always likes to monitor my cookies, I placed them in the center of the table to cool. To help protect the cookies from my son, I thought it would be wise to push a chair in front of them. Nature called so I left the room and when I returned, to my amusement, D had somehow moved and propped himself on the chair for a better look at my cookies.. I have to admit, D always amazes me. Have a wonderful week everyone!!!

Since I am a bit clumsy, Denali and I visit Midwest Camera Repair in Wyandotte, MI often. D and I are well known at the shop. If Denali has not joined me inside, usually one of the workers will go outside and pet D as he waits for me in the Jeep. Tuesday, D joined me inside while they were looking over my gear and they invited us upstairs to the repair room. As soon as we entered the repair room, D instantly grew a liking for one of the workers named Sam. I’m not sure if Denali was trying to offer a helping paw to Sam or what..but Sam the repair man was a good sport. Thankfully, they fixed my camera in time so I could get a shot of D assisting Sam..Good Times.. Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!

Denali loves getting his hair brushed, I think he thinks it’s some type of a massage? D will sometimes lay on his back or belly for hours while he is getting brushed. Then, when we stop brushing him, he’ll start to whine until the person starts brushing again. The other day while I was grooming him outside, Bentley and Remi’s niece was visiting next door. She ran over and offered to help me brush him. Denali sat there with a huge smile, she brushed him for about twenty minutes until she said, “My arm is getting sore.” Go D.. He has us all trained well. Have a fabulous week everyone!

Greetings Everyone!! Surprisingly, my son Denali fooled us all and chose his dog food over my fruity cheerios. I was shocked, I was so expecting him to dive head first into my fruity cheerios. When I told my parents about my ’scientific experiment,’ both my mother and father guessed instantly that D would choose his tasty doggie food over cheerios. My father said, “Don’t doubt me, I know that dog.” Thanks, Dad.. Alrighty then… Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!

I’m titling this post, Scientific Experiment with DENALI THE DOG. Every morning while I’m eating my fruity cheerios and drinking my espresso, D always wants some of my cereal. So, Saturday morning I gave Denali the ultimate test. I challenged his love for my fruity cheerios to his good old fashioned dog food. Since this was a ’scientific experiment’ I found D a lab coat and a pair of goggles to help protect him. Okay, so guess which one he chose?? Have a fabulous week everyone.. I will tell everyone his answer on Thursday.

To get Denali into the holiday spirit, I dressed D in this cute leprechaun costume. Isn’t he cute! (note, he was not too happy about the pipe:) With St Patty’s Day this weekend, you always hear of people drinking green beer. Well, Denali and I could care less about the beer and our drink of choice is McDonald’s shamrock shake, we LOVE them. Most of all, Denali and I want to wish everyone a happy and safe St Patty’s Day!

When D want’s my attention, he has no problem letting me know about it. Normally he’ll walk up to me, start to wiggle his tail, and stare at me. If I do not respond, he will lay his head on my lap, sigh loudly, and nudge my arm until I give him the attention he deserves. Is my son Denali spoiled?? No… I just love him. Have a great week everyone!
