Screen Doors

Filed under: Day in the life — denalithedog @ 1:21 pm

This is our 3rd screen for our sliding door. The two culprits behind this hole is Sir W, of course, and his little buddy, G2. Mr W started the hole, then little G would assist and try to open it more. One day during lunch, I caught little G sharing her food with Sir W while he waited outside. I’m not sure if I should fix it or let them have fun with it. Love them.. Have a great weekend everyone!

STRAWBERRIES

Filed under: Day in the life — denalithedog @ 1:19 pm

Sir W loves strawberries and so do the girls. I thought it would be fun to visit Hoen’s for the girls to pick strawberries. The girls and Sir W had a blast, they were covered in red and Wilbur made sure the girls did not drop any. When we finished, I had Sir W pose next to one of our baskets. Have a great week everyone!

Fathers Day

Filed under: Day in the life — denalithedog @ 3:21 pm

Father’s Day is this weekend and I’d like to give a special shout out to all the special men in our lives. I had the girls help me paint a sign for their dad and they wanted Sir W to wear it. Happy Father’s Day too all… Have a great weekend everyone!!

Hair, lots of hair

Filed under: Day in the life — denalithedog @ 2:05 pm

I love Sir W dearly, but I am getting frustrated with his hair. He was groomed a few weeks ago, and I brush him often, but I keep on finding knots in his hair. All the knots are always under his leg and armpits. Does anyone have suggestions how to control them? I have him posing next a knot I cut, because he was getting annoyed with me combing it. Thanks!

We LOVE our troops

Filed under: Day in the life — denalithedog @ 2:03 pm

On today’s federal holiday, I thought it would be nice to post a Memorial Day photo of Denali from 2012. Today is a day we gather to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service of our country. We love our troops and their families.

Rebar

Filed under: Day in the life — denalithedog @ 9:17 pm

Sir W is not happy with me. I am awful at tossing his beloved orange balls. Usually when I throw them, I hit the house or my little garden, or they go over the fence into my neighbors yard. Well, my husband is working on a project that the girls and Wilbur are not allowed to touch, and guess where the balls usually end up. Thankfully, Sir W has no interest in the project and is apparently afraid of the steel stuff where the balls land, because he refuses to get them. So he just sits and waits and waits for me to retrieve them for him. Love you Wilbur. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Family Time

My husband was on the floor reading a book to toddler G, moments later little G joins them. A wee bit later, Sir W walks in and lays next to them. Such a nice moment. Have a great week everyone !

Spring Time

Filed under: Day in the life — denalithedog @ 9:14 pm

It’s been warm out these past few days and the girls along with Sir W have been playing in the yard. The girls were worried about Wilbur being hot, so they made sure he had a bowl of water. Along with filling it numerous times, they found it humorous to dump every other bowl on him. As usual he did not care.. He’s awesome. Have a great weekend everyone !

Puppy Snuggles

Filed under: Day in the life — denalithedog @ 2:38 pm

On Sunday, we went for an afternoon ride in the Jeep. Sir W started out on the back bench between the girls and then he decided I needed some company. Even though he weighs around 75 pounds, he had no problems finding a comfy position on my lap. I felt that he began to snuggle close as we were driving and snapped a photo to share. I love you Wilbur. Have a great week everyone!!
