We had a birthday party over the weekend for little G and Sir W spent the majority of the time outside. The children were running around petting him like crazy and Sir W was having a fabulous time. I grabbed a few hats and placed them on his head for a photo and before I knew it, big G was diving in for a hug from Sir W. He’s so good with the children. Have a great week everyone !

If you’re looking for some excitement on TV this morning and live in the Toledo, Ohio area Denali & Sir Wilbur will be LIVE on TV. You can check us out between 8-9am on FOX TOLEDO DAYBREAK and then between 9-10am on WTOL 11 Your Day. Last week the boys posed with the anchor’s from WTOL 11 Your Day, Melissa Andrews, center with Chris Vickers and below, FOX Toledo, Ashley James and Melissa Andrews. I will be posting the interview hopefully soon after and my pinky’s and toes are crossed hoping Sir W is a good boy!

I needed not 1, not 2, but 3 McDonald’s Big Mac’s to make Mondays ‘scientific experiment’ photo. Thankfully, McD’s is not too far from my house. The first two times I placed the Big Mac and dog food down in front of D and Sir W, they could not contain their excitement and both charged at the Big Mac. The photo I used today is from the 1st Big Mac speed eating contest. Monday’s photo was taken after the boys ate the first 2 big macs, they were so kind as to pose for a photo before this one was devoured too. Wow is all I can say… Have a wonderful weekend everyone and long live McDonalds!!

Denali and I want welcome all his new fans and send out a special Thank You to Rebecca Regnier, Justin Billau, and intern Lindsay with ABC Channel 13 News in Toledo, Ohio. After they finished working with Denali, I had them all pose with him for a photo. The best part is, Friday when we were watching the segment at my parents home and the story about Denali started, he ran up to the TV and started barking at himself… O’ Denali, I’m not sure if he knew that it was him or just another really good looking golden. I just love him. Have a great week everyone!!

Denali wants you to meet his new friend Barb, a volunteer in the gift shop at St Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. The hospital is a brand new location to purchase your Denali The Dog cards. While I was stocking the card rack and chatting with Barb, I told her Denali was waiting in the Jeep for me. I asked her if she would pose with Denali in a photo to show off his new location. To my surprise, she said, “I have read and heard so much about him, it would be an honor.” I did not know what to say to her other than she made me feel really good. So, if you have a loved one in the hospital come down to the gift shop and give them a Denali The Dog card, it will be the best medicine they will get.

Denali and I want to thank everyone who came out and met us over the weekend. We both had a lot of fun. Denali loved running to the door every time it opened, hearing his name as fans walked in. Thankfully, his tail only knocked over 3 pieces of pottery that stayed intact as they hit the floor. But as soon as we got home, Denali marched over to his beddy, got into a comfortable position and took an afternoon siesta, which was well deserved. Have a great week everyone!

His name is Denali, he’s huggable and lovable. He would love to meet you and will be appearing (note, that sounds so official) Saturday December 4, at American Gallery from 11am to 1pm at 6600 Sylvania Ave in Sylvania, Ohio. Come out and purchase some holiday Denali cards, I’ll bring a few packs. This should be fun, but I’m a bit nervous. American Gallery is a local art gallery with many beautiful, one of a kind, fragile art pieces. I hope Denali remains calm and controls his tail while meeting all his fans. Have a fabulous holiday weekend, we hope to see you!

This past weekend Denali and I stopped at Barnes & Noble. While Denali patiently waited in the Jeep, I ran inside to purchase a copy of the Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan’s magazine, Cesar’s Way. In the little world of Denali The Dog, we made history. You’ll find in the Dec 2010-Jan 2011 edition of Cesar’s Way, on page 84, a story about us. This is our first national story and we are both excited. As I sprinted back to the Jeep with excitement in my voice, I showed the story to Denali as he eagerly tried to join me on my lap in the driver’s seat. After my complimentary facial, I talked Denali into posing for a photo with a few copies of the magazine. Check it out at bookstores nationwide!

Denali and I want to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING! This weekend in Ohio, one of the most important football games of the season, the Ohio State Buckeyes vs Michgan Wolverines rival game, takes place. Denali and I are not huge sports fan, so to get him into the mood, I borrowed some gear from a friend and a cousin. Have a fabulous holiday weekend everyone and be safe!

Over the past few months I have received many request of people wanting to meet Denali. So, if you’re in Northwest Ohio on Saturday, December 4, you can check out Denali’s cards and have him autograph them.. well maybe not. But you can meet him at American Gallery in Sylvania, Ohio at 600 Sylvania, Ohio at 6600 Sylvania Ave from 11am to 1pm. Over the weekend Denali and I made a quick trip to the gallery. After exploring every inch of the gallery, Denali rested on the floor for a few minutes before greeting a few customers. I just love him!
