Dean Koontz

A few weeks ago on CBS Sunday Morning, Denali and I watched a story about author Dean Koontz and his golden retriever named Trixie, a CCI retired service dog. We both loved the story so I wrote him a letter about Denali and I looking for some advice. Yesterday, Denali was very thoughtful and barked very loudly when the mailman was outside the door and continued to do so along with whining and dancing. I suddenly realized that Denali was subconsciously trying to tell me that the mailman left something at the door. To my surprise, I found a package in the door from author Dean Koontz. Enclosed was a personal letter from Dean along with his book ‘A Big Little Life’, book about his life with Trixie and personal inscription in the book to Denali and I. Thank You, Dean Koontz!
