SNOW BOOTS PART II So the original snow boots I found for my son, which he wore in earlier photos, currently have large holes in them. With the help of a local Denali fan, I purchased a pair of purple Pawz boots for him. After playing and winning successfully four games of give mommy your paw, I grabbed my camera and outside we went. Denali, at first, was not too happy about his boots, but within a few minutes he started rolling and dancing in the snow. In the middle of his performance, I had him pose for a photo. Yes, he possibly does not look too happy in the photo. I’m not sure if it’s the hat or that I cut his show short. Have a great week everyone!
Tuesday all the local schools in our area were closed due to the ice and snow storm. So Denali, my brother, and I took the morning off and joined my friend and her two little ladies at a local sledding hill. Denali was the bravest of all chasing after the girls and their father as they slid down the icy snow covered hill. Between Denali’s marathon snow sprints, I convinced one of the little ladies… I’ll call her little Miss J…to pose with him for a photo. The only problem when shooting this photo was that Denali was too excited and we both had to hold onto him while I took the photo. Have a great weekend everyone!
Sunday morning Denali always joins me at the couch while I work on my computer watching CBS Sunday Morning. If he is not snoring loudly on his beddy, he’s looking up at me while I work. I’m not sure if he’s trying to tell me to take him for a walk or asking me to share my breakfast with him. Knowing my furry son rather well, I’m sure this irresistible pout is for mommy to share her breakfast. Have a great day everyone!
I do not have many photos of Denali and I together. Yesterday with the weather getting warmer, Denali and I went to his favorite park for a hike. While walking the trail, we passed some hikers and I asked them to take a photo of us. To get Denali’s attention, I put some snow in my hand and kneeled down next to him…well, I had high hopes. I thanked the couple for taking a snap shot and the lady said, “We’re not sure if it turned out.” I told her not to worry and that “I’m sure the photo looks great”, and off they went. I turned on the camera, looked at the photo, and all I noticed was my blue corduroys and Denali leaping in the air. I love him, there is nothing else I can say!
Denali wants to be your valentine and is sending his love your way. (Note.. Off the record, it took about 5 fresh EXPENSIVE roses and half a box of Cheerios to get this photo!!)
Happy Valentine’s Day to all…
LOVE ♥ Denali
Every morning after Denali eats his breakfast he joins me for expresso and fruity Cheerio’s. Well, I drink the expresso and really have no choice but to offer him the Cheerio’s because he will not leave me alone until I do. Yes, Denali does run the household, but it’s ok. Have a great weekend everyone!
Denali and I spent Saturday afternoon with my mother, better known as Denali’s grandmum. Since it was snowing like crazy outside we decided to warm up the house and make an apple pie. While my mother was rolling out the dough, Denali wanted to get a closer look and joined her at the counter. After patiently observing her rolling out the dough, he decided to take a lick of flour?? Ok? If Denali would have been a little more patient, I’m sure the fresh apple filling would have been a lot tastier than flour but hey, everything probably tastes good to him. Have a great day everyone!
As everyone knows, Northwest Ohio and many other states received a white blessing from mother nature. The first few snows of the season were fun and exciting, but now the shoveling is getting a bit tiring and heavy. However, there is one little guy I know named Denali who is still overjoyed about the snow. After I opened the door, Denali charged out and leaped head first into a pile of snow and started to roll. Honestly, with the temperature in the single digits, rolling in the snow is not something I would do, so I grabbed my camera and took a photo of Denali to share with everyone. Have a good weekend everyone and stay warm!
