Denali and I live in a small home without a basement. We live in the midwest and this past week, we experienced some rough weather. When the tornado sirens sounded, I grabbed Denali, my camera, ipod and off we went to the bathroom. To make Denli feel more at ease, I played some Beatles music, then I brought out my camera and took photos of us. Thankfully, everything was fine when we got out. Have a good weekend everyone!
This weekend I purchased a pair of winter dog boots for Denali. He loves the snow but his paws always give him problems. Every year, Denali gets a new pair of boots and within a few weeks he loses them or wears them out. With my mother’s help we put the boots on him and I took a photo of him. I wonder if they make UGG boots for dogs?
Denali and I played taxi service yesterday and picked up my parents from Detroit Metro Airport. When Denali first spotted my parents, he tried leaping out of the window in excitement as I was holding onto his collar. After my parents got into the Jeep, Denali found comfort on my dad’s lap and refused to lay anywhere else on our road trip back to Ohio. Thankfully, my dad was a good sport and did not mind Denali laying on him, especially after spending eleven hours on a airplane. Have a great weekend everyone!
Denali was in Detroit with me over the weekend and he made his first trip to the Eastern Market. We both had a great time checking out all the fresh fruit, veggies and flowers. To reward Denali for being a good boy I picked up some fresh cookies which we both enjoyed. Have a good week everyone!
One of our favorite things to do in the fall is drink pumpkin spice lattes and go for hikes along the river. After spending the morning in the studio with me. I though it would be fun to go for a walk at Providence Metropark in Grand Rapids, Ohio. When we finished our walk we relaxed at the end of the canal. Have a great weekend everyone!
I brought my photo assistant with me over the weekend and thankfully he’s a good traveler. After completing our jobs in Detroit, the Jeep would not start. While I called AAA, Denali patiently waited in the back seat. (Denali grew up on the road with me traveling Interstate 80/90 many times in his early doggie years.) Soon after the Jeep was running we got stuck in construction traffic on I-75 for over an hour. To amuse myself and to make Denali feel more at home I took photos of us as we waited in traffic. Have a great week everyone!
If your in Northwest Ohio this weekend come out at 10am on Saturday, October 9th and help support Kaylee Halko during a 5k run/2mile walk in Monclova on the Wabash Cannonball Trail. Kaylee is a 7yr old suffering from Progeria, a fatal premature aging syndrome that effects children. You can learn more about Kaylee at her website www.sweetkaylee.com
After Denali jumped into the Jeep, I told him we were off to meet a special little lady. When we arrived at Kaylee’s home, Denali ran laps in her yard chasing after her three brothers as Kaylee stood in amazement. “He’s a lot bigger then my guinea pig,” she told me as I stood there laughing with her. When Denali finally calmed down and with the help of her brother Jacob, I had them pose for a photo.
Denali and I ran the local track this weekend. You’d think with all the time we spend together our running step would be more synchronized but, it’s really not. I tend to run within the lines and Denali runs everywhere else. The only time I get Denali to run next to me is when I have treats in my pocket. He’s a very smart I have to admit. After we ran a few laps and before giving him a treat, I had Denali pose for this photo. Have a great week everyone!
